My broad research interests are: environmental health, environmental microbiology and water quality. My current research project investigates the microbial ecology of Salmonella and Campylobacter with specific emphasis on the environmental prevalence of these pathogens in a rural southeastern Georgia (USA) watershed.
I received my Master's of Science degree in Environmental Health Science in 2005 from the University of Georgia and received my Bachelor's of Science degree in Biology from South Carolina State University in 2002.
